KID was informed this morning by Congressman Burgess Owens that KID was awarded a $1.76 million dollar grant through the Omnibus Bill recently passed in congress and signed by the President of the United States to replace the existing watermain in 5400 South Street. We personally want to thank Congressman Owens and his staff for their dedication and attention to our community and willingness to help us in seeking these critical infrastructure replacement funds.
